My Good Friend, Job

My Good Friend, Job

I have been away from my website for some time. I am currently a caregiver for my husband who is battling back from a blood disorder having had a bone marrow transplant. We are so grateful to God who has granted us this opportunity to learn of his healing love.

I have found that the time away from my full time PT work, as well as my moments of downtime from caregiving, have granted me the gift of moving forward on this mission of retelling the rich stories of scripture. Thanks to the Wise Spirit who has revealed her gems to me.  She longs to speak to all who will listen.

I am nearly ready to take Book 2 of my Old Testament series to the printers. I have even added the story of Job to my collection, which seems so pertinent to the journey that I am currently on with my husband. It is a story that may end up in Book 3 or Book 4, or it might just be a story told for its own sake.

Job is included in the Wisdom Books in our Bible, and now I can understand why that is the case. I am sure that the Sprit’s gentle voice will reveal to me where ‘The Story of Job’ belongs, in time. Meanwhile, you can listen to Job’s poetic story accompanied by the soulful strum of my baritone ukulele by clicking the button below.
