About Book 2:
We will meet Jacob (Israel) and Joseph as we conclude the Book of Genesis. The plight of the Israelites (Hebrew people) is documented in the Book of Exodus. These chosen people of God will spend over 400 years in slavery in Egypt. Moses will be the designated leader to help them escape from Pharaoh’s army. The Hebrew people will wander in the desert for forty years before they arrive at the Promised land.
