Wake Up, Lazarus!

So, what if a reporter from your town was interviewing witnesses to a miraculous event, and what if that event involved raising to life a person who had been dead and buried for four days?

Well, this is precisely what happens in the town of Bethany as re-told by five witnesses in this imaginative account of Jesus waking up his friend, Lazarus, from the dead. Jesus awakened many souls that day who came to believe in him. Now we will hear their stories, so that we, too, might come to believe.

Jesus gives us hope for new life just as we near the end of our Lenten journey. Hope is the assurance of what we have been promised. We have hope for being raised above our present circumstances and hope for attaining eternal joy in heaven.
